Celebrating 4th Birthday TCG

Happy Birthday TCG!

August 2024 marked a significant milestone for Taringa Community Garden - our 4th birthday!

The Queensland sunshine smiled upon us, bringing together a vibrant crowd to celebrate this special day.

As the sunset cast its warm glow, our garden transformed into a breathtaking haven. The atmosphere was electric, with everyone savoring pumpkin soup and sausage sizzle, accompanied by an array of sweet treats. Meanwhile, kids were engaged in crafting bird feeders, resulting in nine new additions that will support local wildlife!

Reflecting on our journey, we recall the massive planting of native species two years ago. Although this year's achievements may not have been as grand, the celebration was made special by the inspiring individuals who make our community thrive.

As we look to the future, we invite you to join us in volunteering in community garden! Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, we welcome new volunteers.
